— Mason’s POV —1
I can’t believe she just left me. I whimpered sadly, and then anger took over. Because this is all Brad’s fault! He had to say I didn’t want to find my mate and continue playing with other girls. Yes, it’s true. But then my feelings changed when I laid my eyes on her.36
I ran to where Brad was, shifted behind a tree and put on a pair of shorts and pinned him to a tree. I growled at him feeling my eyes turn black and said to him furiously, “WHY DID YOU HAVE TO SAY THAT IN FRONT OF HER?!” He said between breaths, “I’m *choke* sorry *choke.” Maggie whimpered and said, “Mason please, let him go. I’m sure you can tell her that your feelings changed and that you promise not to hurt her. Please Mason. Let Brad go.” I soften at what she said. I let Brad go cause she was right.13
I won’t let anything happen between us or hurt her. I swear it.26
— Sally’s POV —
When I woke up this morning, I felt dried tears on my cheek and felt more tears coming into my eyes when I remembered what happen last night. I suddenly remembered that I promised I would see him tonight. I groaned and decided to just get it over with.9
I got up from my soft warm bed and looked in the mirror. I saw a girl who had puffy red eyes and sadness in them. I quickly took off my clothes and took a hot shower. After that, I picked a dark blue dress and black tights and white sneakers.13
It was only 7.52 am. I decided to go for a run. Let’s hope I don’t run into him again. But of course the things you hope never go the way you plan.9
I shifted behind a tree and scratched it so I’d remember wear I put my clothes. I decided to go to the cliff and think there. When I reached there, I took a quick look around and approached the cliff carefully. When I was positive he wasn’t there, I went there and put my head on my paws and thought what would happen if Mason rejected us.2
I suddenly felt like I was being watched. I decided to get out of there now and run. But when I only took a few steps, he just had to appeared. I refused took at Mason in the eyes so I just looked at my paws. He whimpered and approached me and nudged me with his snout. I backed away from him and shook my head and whimpered back and ran past him.
As I ran, I heard him whimpered loudly and howled. I tried to control my tears so that I wouldn’t cry which worked a bit. When I arrived at Lilian’s house, I shifted at the tree my clothes were and wore them. After that, my stomach growled and I decided to have some cereal.13
When I went inside, everyone was in the family room including Hannah. I went straight in the kitchen, poured myself a bowl of cereal and went to sit with the others while watching Sponge-bob Square-pants.47
I mumbled, “Morning guys.” They greeted back and then Lilian said, “Good your here. Now hurry and eat up your food cause we are going to go shopping.”6
Me and Kevin nearly choked on our breakfast and said while coughing, “Shopping?!“
— Lilian’s POV —3
Then Kevin said, “OK. Who the hell are you and what have you done to my cousin?” I chuckled and said, “Chill Kev. Me and Hannah just want to buy our prom dresses for tomorrow night and suggested that we couldn’t leave Sally home alone.”3
Sally groaned and said, “You know I hate shopping. Who would love shopping anyway?” Hannah smiled sheepishly and both of them turned to look at her while she said defensively, “What? It’s really hard to look this good all right and I can’t believe you both hate shopping! What’s so bad about it?”
Me and Sally groaned and said together, “Everything!” Hannah just growled and said under her breath, “The things I do to get beautiful.” Sally groaned and said, “Fine I’ll go but none of those disgusting short stuff all right?”62
Me and Sally agreed whole-heartedly on that we don’t want those stuff. Hannah just groaned but agreed.
And now we’re at the mall and boy is it boring. I groaned and said, “Can we PLEASE just buy a dress and go to the food court Hannah?” She turned sharply at me and said, “WHAT! LILIAN RODRIGUEZ IF YOU SAY THAT AGAIN I’LL KNOCK YOUR HEAD!” I just raised my hands in surrender and gave Sally an I-tried-look and shrugged. After 4 more stores, me and Sally hope that this last store will be where our dresses might be. And guess what?
They were. I did a silent happy dance in my head and said ecstatically, “FINALLY!” The first dress we found was for Hannah. It was a cream colour floor dress and it had a strap on the right and boy will Kevin want to rip her out of that dress.49
The next one was Sally. Since she was a red head, we decided a black and red dress that was strapless, mid-thigh, had a sweetheart line coloured in red and the rest of the dress was black and flared out at the bottom.22
My one was of course my favourite. Mine was a purple black dress. Strapless, had a small bow that was on my left waist, was tight at the top, flared at the bottom and mid thigh. Hannah didn’t need shoes cause she already has a ‘perfect’ pair at home. Mind you, she always says that about every shoe.6
After we ate at the food court, we decided to head home and then I announced, “Guys, we better change into something more suitable cause we’re gonna be having a new member.” They all turned to look at me and asked a lot of questions so I explained to Kevin, Hannah and Sally how I found the rouge.11
All of them quickly changed while I just sat there not bothering and then all of them came down fresh and raring to go. We all drove there just in time to see the Alpha announcing to the pack that we were having a new member and blah blah blah.
“Do you, Maggie Jones, accept to respect, honour and help your pack members of the Silver Angel Pack.” When he said that I snapped out of my daze and got excited and when she said, “I do.” I nearly squealed.17
Then the Alpha announced, “All right now why don’t you lot go have fun while us adults eat somewhere else.” All of us chuckled and went to the teenage area.
After an hour or more, I have no idea, I was just sitting and being alone listening to a song. Then Hannah arrived and said, “Hey Lilian! This song is so your personality. Come on let’s dance!” I was about to protest but… what the heck. I grabbed Hannah’s wrist and pulled her to the dance floor and danced all night or until the whole song ended.
I didn’t see where Sally was and thought maybe she was getting refreshed somewhere.So we stayed up all night and jump around. I didn’t really drink cause I despise it. After the party we all went back to my place and crash until midday.
