— Abbott’s POV —
When we were about to reach our destination, a horrific pain hit me. I fell down and whimpered. “Mate. She’s hurt. Need mate.” My wolf said to me. God this pain is a pain in the ass. All I wanted to do was go to sleep but I couldn’t. I needed to make sure my mate is safe and by my side.38
I quickly stood up and walked shakily. It still hurts but I didn’t care because I needed to save Lilian. Brad looked at me with concern but I just shook my head and walked forward. While walking, I realized it was quiet.

Then, all hell broke loose. The rogues came and attacked us. There were a lot and I hoped that we could get through this without anyone getting hurt.7
Wolf after wolf, they just kept coming. I bit, scratch, did everything I could just to keep myself alive for Lilian. Then I felt a wolf pounce on me. Good lord was he heavy. Is he supposed to be a wolf or a fat pig?104
Then someone knocked him off me. I turned to see who it was and saw it was Lilian’s cousin. Sally I think. Wow for a tiny wolf she sure is strong.
Then I ran to where Lilian was and thought to myself.1

— Lilian’s POV —
Then, I heard snarls, howls mostly in pain, outside. Spencer growled and went to go out but not before he said, “I’ll kill your mate so you’ll know exactly the pain I went through.” Then he went.3
I took a quick look around and saw that there wasn’t any guard anywhere. I smirked and thought to myself,
How stupid!
My wolf laughed weakly. I started struggling against the chains and it really hurt because it’s made of silver. I took a breather but then decided against it and struggled even more. I got up slowly and pulled. Then a miracle happened.2

I smiled proudly and quickly took a look at the jail cell door but it wasn’t there because Spencer left it opened.
I chuckled to myself. Wow. He has the worst defence I have ever come across. Dick.37
I quickly walked out but then, the door opened and a guard saw me and growled. “How did you get out of your cell and chains?” I smirked at him and said, “Your Alpha sure does have a weak defense. He left the door of my cell opened.” The guard just growled.1
Then he lunged at me. I dodged it just in time and then I saw the silver chains on my wrist and smirked. I heard the cracking of bones and quickly turned around and use the chains on my wrist and pulled it around his neck and strangled him. He choke and growled but then he stopped. He died.75
I sighed sadly while getting off him. That’s the one thing I hate about being a warrior. You have to kill someone for your pack.2
I quickly ran outside and came just in the nick of time because I saw Spencer sneaking behind Abbott. I had no time to shout at him so I did what I had to do. I ran towards Spencer and wrapped the chain around his neck. He growled and snapped at me and tried to get me off his back. I held on for dear life and then Spencer slowed down and fell. I quickly got off him and dropped to my knees.8
I panted heavily and then I heard the cracking of bones. Then I heard a voice that made shivers run down my spine.
“Lilian?”
I chuckled and got off the ground to face him. I replied sarcastically, “No it’s the pizzaman. Who the heck do you think it is?” He rolled his eyes and said, “Yeah it’s you.”93
I chuckled some more. “In the flesh.” Then I got a real good look at him and flushed. I cover my eyes quickly and said, “Good lord at least cover that, that thing dangling.” He chuckled and said, “I’m your mate as you are mine. You’ll see this eventually.”62
I blushed and took my hands off my eyes and was about to retort but then I saw…10
I quickly ran towards Abbott and pushed him out of the way and felt the metal go through my stomach and fell down. Spencer fell beside me and then I pulled the dagger from my stomach. I turned to him and said, “Say hi to Cherry for me Spencer. Sweet dreams.” Then I plunge the dagger straight into his heart and saw him took his last breath.
Then the pain from my stomach hit me and I groaned. “Lilian!” I saw Abbott run towards me and pick me up gently. I said while groaning, “God this hurts. I feel so tired. I’m just gonna close my eyes for a sec.” Then Abbott replied, “No! Don’t close your eyes Lilian! I couldn’t forgive myself if you left me. Please don’t leave me Lilian. Please.” I looked up at him and saw tears run down his cheeks.57
I cupped his left cheek. Regardless of the pain I’m feeling, seeing him crying, hurts me more. I said to him softly, “I won’t ever leave you Abbott. I’ll be in your heart. Forever and Always.” Then I gave him a sweet lingering kiss.25
Then I pulled back and said what I have been feeling ever since I rejected him.
“I love you Abbott. Always.” His breath hitched and then he said something I didn’t catch because I started falling into complete darkness.
