“I don’t think I’ve ever been so nervous before” Cytheria mumbled
“Why’s that?” Luna asked as she revered the car into the parking lot
“Because I’m literally introducing my parents to the DEVIL himself” She groaned
“You don’t have to tell them he’s the devil if you don’t want to” Luna said as she turned the engine off
“But I don’t want to hide it, it’s been five years without them even meeting, that’s pretty long to introduce our parents” Cytheria said
“Our relationship isn’t common” Luna chuckled
“I know but stilllll” Cytheria giggled as she stepped out of the car
“I think our dads will hit it off” Luna said
“They’re pretty similar, I’m amazed they’re not related”
“Incest Wincest” Luna smirked
“You’re disgusting” Cytheria laughed
“I’m known as many things sweetheart” Luna smiled
The two girls headed past the red and white arch of an entrance. The pier was home to a permanent fun fair, bumper cars, the hall of mirrors, the ghost train, a loop-the-loop roller coaster and the big wheel. Waves playfully splashing below, gentle salty breeze, cafe, chips, doughnuts and candy floss. Late summer sun, sun speckled sea, gulls swooping for dropped chips. The warm breeze of the afternoon touched the skin and the heated sun pierced their flesh.
“Where’s your father?” Cytheria asked
“I do believe I know where he is” Luna smirked
Her fingers barley brushed against the girl’s as they walked side by side, the hair on her arm rose when their skins touched, she wanted to intertwine their hands so badly, but she afraid of being rejected.
To her surprise, Cytheria actually held their hands firmly and intertwined theirs fingers together. A smile stretched across her face as Cytheria leaned her head against her shoulder as they walked towards a vendor selling ice-cream.
“This place is beautiful” Cytheria whispered
Lines of children snaked away from each ride, eager eyes, impatient feet, ready smiles. A discordant medley of summer sounds, the train track thud-thud of stroller wheels over the wooden planks, the cheery plodding melodies played out of crackly old speakers from each ride, squeals and screams.
The repetitive tinny music of arcade games call out from the sheltered array of glowing, flashing machines. The smell of frying doughnuts permeates the sea air.
“Dad!” Luna yelled as she pushed through a crowd of horny females that surrounded the ice cream machine
“What the?” Luna asked
Her eyes landed on her father’s bare chest that was only covered with an apron. His brown hair was slicked back as he held two ice cream cones in his hand, he seemed to be the one in charge of the machine while the vendor stared at him in awe, a few women flocked around the devil and their desperate giggles filled the pier.
“Darling, you’re here” Lucifer smiled
“Who are these people?” Luna asked
“Just a few girls who wants a cone after they saw me eating ice cream-”
“Of course they did” Luna chuckled
“-The vendor was being a little slow so I happily stepped in, isn’t that right Gerald?” Lucifer asked the vendor
“Y-Yes sir” The man replied as his eyes ran over Lucifer’s chest
“Where’s your shirt?”
“Well, it’s pretty hot out here so I took it off and threw on this apron” Lucifer smirked
“This is ridiculous” Luna groaned
“Oh my devil, Cytheria GREEN COME OVER HERE” Lucifer squealed as his attention dropped towards his daughter’s girlfriend
“Luciferrrr” Cytheria giggled as she wrapped her arms around the man’s chest
“It’s so good to see you again, and it’s even better to see you two together” Lucifer smiled
“it’s pretty great to be back” Cytheria smiled as she walked back over to her girlfriend, intertwining their fingers again
“Dad, you can’t meet her parents wearing that. Get a shirt” Luna groaned
“Why can’t I be myself around them?” Lucifer pouted as he handed a woman her ice-cream
“Just get a shirt!”
“Fine, but where the heck am I gonna find a shirt now?” Lucifer asked
“take mine!”
“no, have have!”
“You can just wear mine!” the women that surrounded Lucifer all yelled at once, eager to peel their shirts off their back to hand it over to the man
“Thanks Doll” Lucifer smirked and unhooked the apron, allowing it to fall to the ground
Immediately, the girl’s and male vendor started a riot over who gets it, they formed a crowd that tugged and ripped the clothing to sheds while Lucifer simply pulled on the tight crop top he was given
“Is this better?” Lucifer asked
“Oh for fuck sakes” Luna facepalmed
“I think it looks cute” Cytheria giggled
“Thank you, if only SOMEONE ELSE could. appreciate it” Lucifer glared
“How dare you” Luna said
“I didn’t mention names sweetheart” Lucifer smiled, but his fingers pointed towards Luna when the girl wasn’t looking
Cytheria chuckled and started to walk into the direction of a nearby restaurant they had to meet her parents in. Lucifer groaned when the short white crop top would ride up his stomach, exposing his toned abs even more.
The two girls pushed open the restaurant door, it wasn’t your typical beach restaurant. Large mullioned windows, long embroidered curtains, dark walnut tables, flowers on each table, delicate live piano music, flagstone tile floor, lounge area with embroidered couches, oval coffee tables with splendidly proportioned cabriole legs, tea served from silver trays in white teapots. Lucifer definitely stood out.
The second the man stepped foot into the building, all eyes were on him. The sound of forks dropping onto a marbled plate erupted then silence filled the room, the pianist even stopped playing. Lucifer blushed brightly
“Don’t I feel self conscious now” The man pouted
“Ugh come on” Luna groaned and walked in the direction of Cytheria’s parents
“Mr Green!” Luna squealed
“Lunaaaa” The man yelled and wrapped his arms around her small frame compared to his
“Ms G, wussupp” She smiled and hugged her girlfriend’s mother
“It’s so good to see you again, I missed you two so much” The blonde hair woman said
“And this must be your- Oh my” Ms Jones’s eyes went wide as she looked at the man
“Is that a crop top?” Mr Green asked
“Yes” Lucifer smiled widely
“Are you aware it’s against the rules to wear that in this establishment?” Mr Green asked
“Yes” Lucifer smiled again
“I love you already” Mr Green chuckled and stretched his hand out to shake Lucifer’s own
“My name’s Lucifer Amon, the devil” Lucifer smiled
“Ah yes, the devil. Nice to finally meet you Lucifer, this is my wife Linda Green” Mr Amon said as he introduced his wife
“Pleasure to meet you” The woman said as she stretched his hand out, Lucifer smiled and held the woman’s hand, giving her a tender kiss on her knuckles, causing the woman to blush
“Alright, easy now. I don’t wanna have to flip this table” Mr Green chuckled
“So what are we having?” Ms Jones asked
“One of everything” Luna and a Lucifer answered in unison
“Oh… I see where you get your appetite from” Ms Jones laughed
“What about your mother? If I may ask?” Mr Green asked
“She’s alive. Unfortunately” Luna rolled her eyes
“Sadly, Luna didn’t kill her” Lucifer shrugged, the couple’s eyes went wide open as they stared at the Amon’s weirdly
“Sorry, what?”
“Yeah she’s a bitch, we don’t talk about it” Luna said as she flipped through the menu
“So Lucifer, where are you from?” Mr Green asked
“Originally heaven, but I live in hell for now” the man said
“Um…”
“So what do you do?” Ms Jones asked to relive the tension
“Torture souls, build portals, arrange the afterlife of everyone. Same old same old” Lucifer said
“Oh… Um… Waiter, may I have a glass of wine please?” Ms Jones said
“It’s gonna take alot more than wine to get through this night” Cytheria chuckled
“I heard you were a Principal, what changed?” Lucifer asked the man
“Well I’m getting a little older for my time there. It’s been a good ten years being the Principal of Green Academy, I think it’s time to step down and allow someone else to be in charge” Mr Green smiled
“That actually sounds so sweet” Lucifer chuckled
“So what do you like to do Lucifer? Besides torture souls” Mr Green chuckled
“Me? Well I don’t do much or have fun. My priorities has always been to watch and take care of my daughter. Then I work all day, there really isn’t anything that I get the time to do. But now that Luna’s moving back here, I’ll have alot of time to waste away” Lucifer answered
“You’re kidding? You don’t do anything for fun?” the man asked
“Nope” Lucifer answered
“When will you be back in town?” Mr Green asked
“I’ll be here whenever Luna wants me to be” Lucifer smiled and nudged his daughter in the shoulder
“It’s settled, we’ll go up the our Cabin this weekend and I’m gonna take you sking” Mr Green smiled
“Sking? What’s that?”
“You’ll find out when we get there, it’ll be great. Just us bonding and getting to know each other better” the man smiled
“I’m down” Cytheria said
“If she goes then I go” Luna smiled
“I guess we’re going skiing then” Lucifer chuckled
“So Luna, where have you been?” Ms Jones asked
“Dead” Luna said bluntly as she chewed on a piece of bread
“Sorry?” Ms Jones asked
“I’m serious” She said
“Mom, she’s been away for a while and she’s back now” Cytheria giggled
“Oh… So how are you two doing?” she asked
“I couldn’t be happier with her” Luna smiled, her eyes glanced in the direction of Cytheria who blushed deeply
Cytheria intertwined theirs fingers beneath the table as she leaned her head against her girlfriend’s again, this time Luna pecked the girl’s forehead before returning her attention to Ms Jones
“The two of you are so cute, I can’t even” Mr Green groaned
“They’re litterly the definition of goals” Lucifer chuckled
“Right? I’m so glad I shipped them from the beginning” Mr Green said, Lucifer turned his attention towards the man with wide eyes
“Oh my God, shut up that was you who set them up together?!” Lucifer gasped
“Duuudee yess, I gave them detention everyday” Mr Green giggled
“Oh my God shut upp” Lucifer squealed and giggled with Mr Green like small school girls
“Such masculine hunks we have here” Ms Jones laughed as she sipped her wine
Luna chuckled as she looked at the two fathers, bonding like the best of friends. Her heart swelled in her chest, happy that there wasn’t any problems or bad blood between the family. She drowned out the voices of the parents when a soft voice filled her ear
“Luna” Cytheria whispered
“Yes?” Luna answered
“I really wanna kiss you right now” Cytheria groaned, Luna chuckled and turned her head to face the girl’s
“You do?” She smirked
“Yesss” Cytheria pouted
“So what’s stopping you?” Luna asked
“The fact that, that guy over there is filming us” Cytheria whispered and nodded her head in the direction of a man far back in the restaurant
He had his phone stupidly hidden behind a napkin as he tried to catch a few footage of the girl’s together
Luna leaned her head down, allowing her hair to cover her face as her eyes went jet black. The adrenaline rushed through her veins as her powers sung through her body.
Suddenly, the waiter -carrying a mug of water- that was passing beside the man, accidentally slipped and poured the entire mug of water onto the man’s phone and soaked his clothing
“Oh my God, sir I’m so sorry” The waiter apologized
“What the heck!” the man yelled as he stood up, his entire suit was soaking wet and dripping onto the ground, his phone ozzed out with water, there was no way it was working
Cytheria giggled and Luna rose her head again, turning her attention towards her girlfriend.
“Now where were we?” she smirked, Cytheria chuckled and shook her head before leaning in and capturing Luna’s bottom lip between hers
The kiss was soft, almost too gentle. Cytheria’s fingers reached up and cupped the girl’s chin, pulling her in closer. A tingly feeling spread throughout their stomachs and a wave of shock reached their necks.
A low hum escaped Luna’s mouth as their lips moved against each other sensually. The girls melted in each others embrace, in each others touch, forgetting about the world around them and focusing on the feeling of their lips and hearts connected.
“Oh for fuck sakes” Lucifer groaned
A piece of bread was then thrown towards the head of both girls, Cytheria giggled when her lips pulled away from Luna, while the demon just groaned. Luna’s pupils were already fully blown, Cytheria rose a brow at the girl before leaning in a pecking her lips once again
“Sthaapp” Luna groaned, knowing she couldn’t resist herself around the girl
“Stop what?” Cytheria asked as she pecked the girl’s lips again
“I won’t hesitate to fuck you right here” Luna said in a low voice so only Cytheria could hear
The blonde swallowed a lump in her throat as her eyes locked with Luna. The demon chuckled and pecked Cytheria’s lips
