I walked into my kitchen, today was the day the other pack was going to join us here, and I felt happy, but wanted everything to look good and presentable. I felt someone walk behind me and put their arms around my waist.
“Babe, stop worrying.” Edwin said. “Everything is going to be fine.” He said with a smile. The pack coming to us was a friend of theirs. It was going to be nice to see new faces.
“I don’t want to go school.” Kath was pouting, making me laugh. She could get anything from Luke with that, but with Evan and Edwin, I don’t think it would be that easy.
“I will drop you, I will even be your guard if you want.” Luke said, but she kept pouting.
“You will just distract me though. I want to stay home.” She said blushing.
“You have to go… for me?” he said to her with a charming smile. He drew her into his arms and she nodded in his chest. I smiled at the exchange.
It has been about a week since the incident with Ruth and Diana. I have been happy for that, nothing drastic has happened. I had not been back to school, though I loved the thought of going to New York, but it does not matter anymore. I have a tutor coming in to teach me, and if I work harder than I do in school, I would be able to finish school really soon. After Christmas I hope. My tutor was not coming today, which I was happy for. I wanted to prepare for my guests, help the maids out a bit.
“Babe, why don’t you just rest? You have been tired the whole week. You look stressed.” Edwin said, kissing my temple.
“But I need to help. The maids like it when I help.” I said to him.
“They also like to serve you.” Evan said coming out of nowhere and kissed my pouty lips.
“Fine.” I went to my room and took out a book from the library. It’s my favorite thing to do. Many people watch TV or play games, but I find reading very interesting. I tried to keep my eyes open, but then I thought, if I resist sleep while I read, I’ll never remember half of what I read.I closed the book and closed my tired eyes. I felt someone come into the room and throw a blanket on me. Evan and Edwin told me. No one’s been here.
I woke up a few hours later; someone was knocking on the door.
“Lia, you need to get ready. The pack is nearly here.” Kath shouted through the door. I moaned and turned. Soon after I figured I would never get back to sleep. I threw the covers of me and stood stretching; I could not help the big yawn that escaped my lips.
Damn I over slept and my mates did not want to wake me. Typical.
I walked to my room, and opened the wardrobe. The Green Ville pack, was going to meet the Easton pack, there was going to be a BBQ thrown in the gardens. Green Ville is a sunny place, and I loved not freezing in the winter. The seasons did need a bit getting use to.
I was looking at my dresses in the wardrobe, stuck between the two. Evan came and placed a kiss on my temple, hands on my waist.
“That one.” He said pointing at the one at a simple floral cocktail dress.
I smiled, and raised up to kiss him on his lips.
“You didn’t wake me up.” I told him with a straight look on my face. I could not get angry with any of them.
“Sorry, you looked so cute.” He said giving me a guilty smile. My heart flipped and I let my smile out. I walked into the dress, and moved my hair aside.
“Zip me up please.” I said. He took a deep breath, shocked, but still zipped me up.
“What is it? You said it was urgent.” Edwin said, coming to the room breathing heavy. I had a confused look on my face. I looked at Evan, but he was frozen.
“What’s wrong?” I asked frightened. Evan still frozen, I looked between him and Edwin.
Edwin came across the room shook his brother.
“Dude, you said it was urgent. Is it Lia? Dude you are killing me.” Edwin rambled on. Evan shook himself. I could breathe again.
“What is wrong ?” I asked again holding onto Evan’s hand wanting him to look at me. He only gave Edwin a look, and Edwin came behind me and rubbed his nose against my skin, making me aroused.
“Not the time Edwin.” I said breathy, but he froze. “Would someone tell me what is going on!” I shouted.
“Your smell has changed.” Evan said.
“Yeah I know, it changed when I mated with you guys.” I said in a ‘duh’ voice. They should have know, it would have changed when I mated with them. This was months ago. Of course it would have changed.
“Lia, sit down.” He held my hand and led me onto the bed. Edwin shook himself like his brother did. A smile broke out on their faces. Damn they confuse me.
“Lia, darling…” Evan started, dragging it off.
“You’re pregnant.” Edwin said. Cutting it short and simple.
“Well wasn’t that easy.” I said. “WAIT, WHAT?” I exclaimed. Was I ready, I knew I would be soon, but was I going to be a good mother?
“Babe, this is a good thing. Great thing. You are going to be the best mother.” Edwin said. He kissed my lips. Evan took me by the waist, carried me bridal style, my face in his chest.
“Really? I am?” I said. Self doubt in every one of my words. Evan tighten his grip on my.
“You really are. You will be the best mother to out child.” He said. We need to hurry up.
“Okay, If you think so. We should get going.” Evan let me out of his arms, I felt colder. I put my shoes on. I looked at them; they were wearing dark jeans and dress shirts.
“Damn you guys look good.” I said lightening the mood.
“And you beautiful.” The said in sync, making me blush. I went natural out tonight. I could not be bothered to put anything on my face.
“Come one.” I said with a smile. Evan took a jacket and handed it to me.
“Just in case.” He said. They were still smiling like idiots, making me do the same. I don’t know why I had self doubt. I’m happy now; I have little Edwin and Evan inside of me. I could not be any happier.
They took my hand which fit perfectly in mine, as always. I gave them both a kiss on their cheeks. We walked around the castle; it was not time for the BBQ just yet. Everyone had to get settled in and shown into their rooms. Then the BBQ will start. The pack will show up a bit later.
The Easton pack was waiting for us in the foyer, there was quite a bit on them here. Some already had houses around the city, but others were going to move in here for a while. Evan and Edwin set everything up.
“Welcome to Green Ville, and the Green Ville Palace.” Evan said in a strong voice, I found quite sexy. My wolf purred. He looked at me and sent me a wink. “I am King Evan,” he carried on.
“Welcome. I am King Edwin, and this is our mate and your Queen, Lia.” Edwin said, in his alpha voice.
“Welcome, I hope you had a comfortable journey. You will be shown to your rooms freshen up, and we will start the BBQ when the Whole pack comes.” I said confidently with a smile. They all bowed and followed the maids into their rooms. The alpha came to us.
“Welcome Charlie. It’s good to see you again.”Evan said giving him a man hug. He was a young man, about 23-25 a bit older than my mates.
“Thank you. The rest of the pack will be here tonight.” He said, giving Edwin a man hug.
“This is my mate, Nancy.” He said, pointing at a beautiful woman.
“Nice to meet you, my Queen and King.” She said bowing her head. She looked tired.
“Welcome. You look tired. I will show you to your room.” I told her. Edwin rubbed the small of my back, his hand leaving a trail of heat. She smiled at me.
“I would like that.” She said. I held my arm out for her and she looped hers in mine. we walked away, casting a glance behind I smiled at my mates, and Charlie who looked grateful.
“That is all I need you for guys.” I said to the maids. “You can go home, or come for the BBQ you are all welcome. Tell the others the same. Thank you for your hard work.” I said with a smile. They bowed their heads and smiled.
“No problem Lia.” They all said. I walked Nancy up stairs. They had a nice room.
“Thank you. You do not know how hard it is to move. It has been a long day.” She said with a shy smile.
“I came from England remember. Don’t worry, everything will be okay.” I told her with a smile. “The other pack should be here soon. See you soon.”I walked out of the room seeing Charlie on the way out. He sent me a smile.
“Thank you Luna.” I smiled and nodded as if to say its fine.
