Chapter 9: Sleep (Indie’s POV)
“I have to go now. Before Moretz calls or I fall asleep,” I mumbled, rubbing my eyes. I began sitting up but he grabbed my arm and pulled me back down. “Ah!” I cried when he pulled me into him, putting an arm around my waist.
“Shut up, Indigo. It’s not even midnight yet.”
I didn’t look at him and kept my eyes on the ceiling. “But I told you earlier too I’m tired,” I whined. “And now I’m even more tired and sleepy.”
“Stop complaining!” he groaned, shaking my body. “You complain about everything.”
I turned to look at him, my mouth open while I pulled on an offended expression.
“What?” He jutted his chin out, lifting a brow at me sharply.
I rolled onto my side and slapped him. Hard but not too hard.
“Ahh!” he groaned, grabbing both my wrists in one hand and starting to poke my stomach and ribs.
I squealed and tried kicking him but he locked my legs in his. I started laughing after one point, I couldn’t hold it in. “Wabara!” I fake cried.
He stopped and pinned my wrists on either side of my head after climbing on top of me, straddling my hips. He looked down at me, smiling. “Beg.”
“Fuck you,” I scoffed.
He started tickling me again but I screamed at the bare touch.
“Stop, stop, stop! Please don’t! Please!”
He stopped and watched me chuckling softly.
My face felt hot and flushed, which it probably was. I’m now in nothing but my underwear and bra.
And he only has his briefs on. That’s all we put on after we finished. “Indigo Bloom Easton,” he said slowly while leaning in.
“Wabara…” I fell in thought.
He smirked.
“You don’t have a middle name, do you?”
He shook his head softly, “No, I don’t.”
“Ha! Wabara Griffin,” I said mockingly.
“I didn’t take you to be this type of girl.”
“What type of girl?” I asked, slightly offended.
“The kind I like.”
“Ay,” I looked at him warily.
“No, not like that,” he chuckled, climbing off of me and lying down beside me, on his side so he was still facing me. “You’re good company, is all I mean. I like being around you.” I rolled onto my side as well, facing him. “Mostly when I’m naked though,” he smirked.
I rolled my eyes and flipped onto my stomach, facing away from him. “Wabara,” I said without looking at him.
“Yes?” he asked.
“Don’t let me fall asleep, okay? If I do, just wake me up. I have to get home,” I sighed, rubbing my eyes.
“Okay, Indigo,” he sang. “Whatever you say.”

“Oh, shit. Indigo.”
I kept my eyes closed.
“Indigo.”
I felt someone shaking me softly.
“Indie.”
I opened my eyes, squinting under the bright sunlight pouring in through the window. I groaned, rolling the other way and keeping my eyes closed. I grabbed the covers and pulled them over my head. My eyes snapped open when I inhaled.
