Chapter 61

I growled in frusterstion, for the past two days, no one helped me. Nicole and her mate claim they hate him. Eduardus and Amelia decided to go on some sort of vacation for the rest of the week. To wrap it all up, Edgar’ father got a hold of him and now Edgar has panic attacks.
To make it worse, I can’t go near him because of the nightmares I’m getting. I just want to scream right now. I can’t get into his damn office either, the idiot hasn’t had any food or water for the past two days.
I don’t know what to do, I can’t just abandon him as if he means nothing. He means everything to me, even with his terrible flaws.
“Edgar, please!” I pleaded.
No answer.
I sighed in defeat, looks like I’ll have to try later. I’m worried sick about him, he’s unpredictable at times like these. He’s going to seriously injure himself, I’m terrified it’ll be fatal.
I walked outside to get some fresh air, after being in the house for almost three days, I needed this. I drifted into my thoughts, thinking of our relationship. We have a pretty strong relationship and this is the ultimate test. Whoever is writing my story will have to try harder than this. I am never leaving him, especially when everyone leaves him.
I walked for about an hour before returning to the house. I froze when I stepped inside. There was glass all over the place and little spots of blood. When I caught his father’s scent, I ran.
“Edgar!” I called, needing to find him.
I ran into his office, but he wasn’t there. I then checked every room, when I reached his, I skidded to a halt.
Laying on the floor, was Edgar. He had a nasty bruise forming on his face and his nose was bleeding. He had a few cuts, but he was overall, okay.
“That’ll teach him to lose control.”
I spun around to see his parents stepping into the room. When they saw me, they stiffened. I slowly looked back at Edgar.
He groaned a little as he tried waking up, but passed out again. I faced his parents again, but they were gone. I shook my head, they’re messed up.
I knelt beside Edgar and gently started dragging him to the bed. After struggling for a while, I was able to get him under the covers.
“She hates me…doesn’t she?” He suddenly mumbled.
I looked down at him, “Who, Edgar?”
“Melanie.”
